Due to a number of issues with the previous versions, we have taken down the shopping cart part of this site until version 2.2 is finished. It will have these issues resolved, and will be easier to integrate into your existing systems. The database table names have also been changed in order to avoid conflicts with existing tables, so this means you might need to use another database migration script. This process will be made easier by being part of the new installation script.
Bug fixes / 26 October 2005
After receiving much appreciated feedback and bug reports from the Triangle community, this release of PHP Support Tickets was made possible and solves the majority of the reported problems. No new functionality is added, however.
The next release will include new functionality, and will not be released for free as were the previous versions, but will be sold for the small amount of US$ 25.00. The previous versions will continue to be available, and support will be provided for a small fee, but development has ceased on any version prior to 2.1.
OO Flavours! / 18 August 2005The much anticipated version 2.0 has just been released. The entire application was re-written using solid Object-Oriented design rules and patterns, allowing for easier improvement, adaptability and customisation. The Database back-end was also re-designed to accomodate, among other things, the much requested Departments. Please download and test this version, we are expecting your valuable feedback.
Please also try the online demo.
Free at last... / 19 January 20051.9 released, enough said really, this is a real re-code with a lot of user wish list items added. Please download and test and let me know of any issues. We are getting there.
Plugging Away / 01st August 2004
Finishing 1.8 has been a bit of a marathon, but I am almost there. The reason is the sheer number of requests I have received to improve or add elements to the existing script. Multiple Admins were the main criteria. Anyway it should be done shortly. Latest modifications can be seen in the demo area. I have now provided an area where you can download single files also. The data on these will help you decide whether it is a new version.
v1.8 Beta Released / 24th April 2004I have basically re-written the whole application over the last few months, many people were asking for additions that simply couldn’t be accomodated in the last core code. This release will have the ability for multiple Admins, more admin controlled flexibility and better layout. Also the code has been totally re-written in XHTML so provides a good base to work on for future upgrades. Please see the latest feature list for all the info.
v1.7 Released / 29th Nov 2003Fixed an issue with the mailer Class giving bad error messages. Also I have tested the sending issues some users have reported with Sporadic Sending, I set the Admin email as Yahoo and the Sending email as a Hotmail address; all emails relayed through my STMP server, I was able to create threads in excess of twenty, with all emails delivered.
Forum Launched / 01st Dec 2003Have your shout at our Forum, this PHPBB package is fantsatic. register and submit your query in the appropriate discussion forum. Make sure you submit it to the right Triangle Package.
Apologies - v1.6 / 29th Nov 2003There was a bug in the last build that prevented emails going to the Admin. When the user submitted a Ticket, this has been repaired now. Also I have finished of some more on the ToDo list, and always looking to improve the speed. You must update if you use 1.5
Right Here Right Now / 01st Nov 2003Ok decided to skip 1.4 as a release due to increasing emails about a self user registration system; this has now been included in 1.5 released today. It is switchable within the config file. Tidied up some of the code also and hopefully sped up the processing slightly.
A Step Closer... / 28th Aug 2003The user Demo is now working for Version 1.4, I have yet to release this intermediate package as I still want to update certain areas. Such as user account creation and email piping. So keep checking back for more updates.
If you use PHP Support Tickets then send me the details and I will add you to the Parter Sites, as long as you link back to me though :).
New Site Developed / 19th Aug 2003Finally got around to developing a site specifically for Triangle Solutions PHP Support Tickets. This will then become a one stop resource for the application, in further days I will add on Forums, Newsletters, Helpful Topics and anything else that may aid the users of PHP Support Tickets.
Latest Release / 19th Aug 2003Latest release will be v1.4 out in the next few days when I have updated this web site and finished of some user requested coding on the new system. The latest version will feature Guest Posting, Searchable Tickets, and better admin features to segregate the tickets to departments and staff.
